1.Description

   The Aeronautical Meteorological Service Page (AMSP), maintained by the Air Navigation and Weather Services (ANWS) of the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA), provides aviation weather observation data and forecast products. In order to conform to the national meteorological regulations, this website monitors user logins. Except for the real time observational data from the airports in Taiwan and some major airports in the world, satellite and radar image the general users are not allowed to use any other information on the webpage. In order to use the information on the website, a user must apply and obtain an account through the account application verification procedures. These AMSP policies are proclaimed by the Air Navigation and Weather Service (ANWS) of the CAA under MOTC for the information security and the system control considerations.

2.Scope

　 The AMSP website services the aviation community by providing aviation meteorology information. These policies clearly define the AMSP user account management and provide standards for website usage benefits and responsibility.

3.Account Administration

 (1) Application qualifications
   I. Staff account
　　 All CAA staff members are allowed to apply for the staff account. 
   II. General account
　　 Aviation industry employment is allowed to apply for a general account. In addition, the applicant can apply for an account on the needs of serving the public and diverting domestic air traffic in Taiwan.

 (2) Application procedures
    Apply via the online application function provided on this website. After the application form is completed and submitted, the Taipei Aeronautical Meteorological Center (TAMC) shall complete the review within 3 working days and the applicant will be notified via email.

4.Account management

 (1) Account usage
    The users can log in to the website and the aeronautical meteorological information application (APP). For users’ right, the users should notify TAMC to update information if the job position, contact number or email address are changed.

 (2) Update Password
According to cyber security regulations of ANWS, the password must be updated in 90 days. Your account will be suspended, if you don’t change your password on time.

 (3) Account review
    In order to manage website, TAMC may review the account periodically and send the notification by email, the account user should reply the account usage before the survey deadline.

 (4) Account suspension
    The account will be suspended for 6 months and the user will be notified by email under the circumstances as following:

    I. The account user fails to report the usage of account by the deadline of survey.

    II. The account user is found to be inconsistent with the application information.

    III. The account change, add or delete the content of the information downloaded from this website without authorization, or engage in commercial activities.

  (5) Account reinstatement
    The account user may notify TAMC by email to apply for reinstatement within 6 months, when the account is suspended.

  (6) Account deletion
    The user account will be deleted by the TAMC under the circumstances as following:
    I.Retirement or resignation.

    II.The user has not applied for reinstatement if the account has been suspended for more than 6 months.

    III.The account are not able to change your password more than 6 months.

    IV.The user send a request of account termination.

    V.User uses the malware to gather the data, or the hacking tool to scan and attack the website.

5.Declaration of Rights

  (1)The AMSP website administrator, the TAMC, is responsible for maintaining and updating the data on the website. According to the needs of operations, the TAMC reserves the right to modify the contents of the webpage, and informs the user of the latest news on the website or email.

  (2)The material on the AMSP website should be used as reference material only. It should not be used for any other purposes.

6.Privacy Policy

 (1)For identity verification, user have to provide personal data such as full name, organization and phone number when you apply account in AMSP.
 (2)AMSP is obligated to protect the privacy of all applicants, and no individual’s personal data will be changed or deleted without the agreement of that individual except you violate the rules of account administration.
 (3)AMSP would strictly follow the General Data Protection Regulation of R.O.C for collecting and using any personal identification data.

7.Announcement /Actualization

　 These administration policies will come into effect after they are approved by the Director of ANWS. The same procedure applies when the policies are being revised.
