The weather in Matsu area is dominated by the northeast monsoons from Nov. to Apr. next year which cause heavy fog, low visibility and low ceiling in Beigan and Nangan airports. The weather in Lanyu and Lyudao airports doesn't have obvious seasonal differences. The low ceiling appears while there is low pressure or typhoons formed on the southern oceans.
