There will be intense turbulence in the central area of Upper Cold Core Low(UCCL). The impact level decreases progressively as the distance increases from its center. Its height is usually 200hPa to 300hPa. When it descends to about 500hPa, it enters the ring-off stage. Its character in satellite cloud images is a cloudless area in the center and small-scale clouds occasionally appeared to the southeast of it. It is not easy to identify. Visible satellite images are necessary to inspect them. |
