Radar Mosaic

The CWB creates a mosaic from the reflectivity fields for the various radars operating around Taiwan. The units of reflectivity are dBZ. The higher the dBZ values, the more severe the associated weather. For turbulence purposes, dBZ values of less than 30 are generally of little concern, whereas dBZ values above 40 indicate moderate to severe conditions.
